We request that you only have one or two people there including yourself. A controlled environment is detrimental to a successful investigation.

We will be recording for EVP and we will ask you to please keep talking to a minimal.  Please speak at a normal volume and never whisper as whispers can be mistaken for EVPs and are difficult to account for when reviewing audio footage.

Please do not have any children present.

We prefer there to be no smoking during the investigation.  Smoke of any kind can be mistaken for paranormal anomalies in photographs and video footage.

We will ask that you turn off cell phones and unplug any electrical appliances you don't need to have on. Not only do these devices give off EMFs but can be disruptive during an investigation.

If there is any taking of illegal substances during our investigation or if we find evidence of a hoax or any situation outside the realm of a normal investigation that may put our investigators and their safety at risk, we will collect our equipment and exit the property at once.

Please note:  We are in this field because we are passionate about paranormal research and will only give the most honest answers which includes indicating whether or not we feel your property is haunted, regardless of what you may feel.  We certainly will not declare your property haunted to help promote your business if we have no evidence or personal experiences to support such a claim.

HPI reserves the right to share any evidence recorded publicly as long as we do not give your name or where the evidence was obtained unless written permission is given to disclose full details in an official report on our website.
